CRS announces the release of the SAM4s AIO SPT-7000/7500

Highly Integrated SAM4s SPT-7000/SPT-7500 Terminals 

St. Paul, MN – CRS has released the SAM4s SPT-7000 and SPT- 7500, highly integrated POS terminals available with printer, scanner and fingerprint reader—an entire POS workstation in a single, small footprint unit. The SPT-7000 provides a bezeled display; the SPT- 7500 uses a true flat display. Both are fanless and powered by the new low power, cool running Intel D2550 processor.

“Until now, there have been very few choices in the market for terminals with integrated printers,” said CRS VP of Sales John Soderquist. “The SPT-7000/SPT-7500 is the leading design: a powerful processor, a very attractive look, a compact footprint, and easy operator access to the printer for receipts and paper changes. We anticipated that there would be strong interest from applications where counter space is very tight, such as ticket offices and concession stands. However, we are seeing enthusiasm in all market segments, especially hospitality. Installations are much cleaner with the terminal and peripherals housed in a single unit, without power supply bricks and the maze of connecting cables.” 

The terminal features a 15” TFT LCD touch screen, five-wire resistive touch technology, an integrated card reader and an integrated power supply. The optional printer is the SAM4s Ellix 40 mechanism, featuring 220 mm/second print speed and a highly reliable anti-jam auto-cutter. Additional options include integrated WIFI, CFast CompactFlash memory, and integrated VFD, 15” LCD, or 7” LCD customer displays

Both versions, the SPT-7000 and the SPT-7500 are available for immediate shipment and have been tested and endorsed by several popular ISVs.
